Forming the Body
Human being transforms in a constant manner its environment according to its will. Therefore, forms and shapes actively his surroundings.
We build living areas, Streets, Tunnels and create infinitely many tools, item
that serve us in our daily life. We even trim plants and put them in particular shapes. Everything is put in a certain recognisable form.
As we build and shape things in the outer world, we build and shape our body too. The body is shaped by movement.
Movement needs energy. This energy flows through the body, it is an Effort that harmoniously manifests itself, operating by Tension and Relaxation,
Control and, Letting go.
Through this natural alternation shape is evoked in the body.
By the constant flow of tension, by breathing, the body growth and shrinks, one of the first primary body movement shapes of the body.
We distinguish between pure body form, internal inspired Body form and external inspired Body form
Under pure body form one understands a body shape, that is generated without any external or internal motivation and stimulus. All body shapes are produced just for its own good. Breathing, stretching out in the morning, yawning etc.
Pure body form we find also in dancing, making music.
Dancing for the sake of dancing. with no aime behind, just the pure moving and shaping body
Internal inspired Body form is generated by emotion and feeling.
Each emotion has its proper breathing pattern, therefore different body forms appear.
Also, by mental activities, through the thinking progress, ideas, reflections, etc the body is shaped out of an inner motivation.
In the moment something outside, something in space grabs our attention and we react, the body is shaped by a spatial intention. All our sensations can give stimulus to movement and therefore produce form. Searching the bird that one has heard, following the plane in the sky, reacting on the person that just touched me.
Also functional working movements or sport games
produce body forms with an external motivation sorce.
