The fundamental teaching method is Learning by imitation.The repetition of a given established movement vocabulary, which converts by the process of practice into an internalized proper movement vocabulary and operates to develop a consciousness about body and movement.
The fundamental applied attribute within the class is the Movement Exercise.
The Exercise
Is the repetition of bodily actions (movement Elements, movement Cells, Sequences and movement Phrases),
which are combined and executed within a certain time and space.
Each exercise starts with the understanding of the underlying rules of the course of action. Only the complete comprehension, the overview over the bodily and mentally procedures can positively influence the course of action.
It continues with a period of attempts which lead to a precision, means to an improvement of the execution. Finally, the given vocabulary converts into an internalised element of the conscious execution.
Therefore, the exercise is not just a simple repetition, but a deliberated improvement of the movement execution.
Abilities are developed by exercises.
The meaningful and purposeful exercise is a learn-process. It doesn’t serve up just for the consolidation but also for the perfection.
During the exercise the course of movement is not just consolidated but also reorganised and perfected.
Exercising and well understood and correct carried out training are not just a simple repetition of one and the same original movement or action, but a repetitive solve of the same motor task in which course the original movement is perfected and qualitative modified.
Without repetition doesn’t exist the exercise, but the repetition, that is just a reproduction and consolidation
doesn’t characterize the exercise fully, by exercising a perfection is also achieved.
The mechanical idea of the exercise must be overcome. The exercise shouldn’t be considered as a simple mechanical repetition and consolidation.
The movement factors, themselves provide the fundament for movement sensation and feeling. Within the exercise one can always find something new, something one can reestablish, qualitative remodel and perfection the execution.
With each new approach one has the chance to renew one’s movement sensation and technical ability.
Only by this procedure the process of learning, experiencing and progressing stays alive.
The advance appears inside the exercise not outside of it.
