Body Parts

Anatomicwise spooken, one divides the body into the Trunk,
(Head, Neck, Thorax, Pelvis) and the upper and lower Extremeties.

In movement analysis we distinguish between:
General Body Parts

Extremities Upper Body


-left, right Arm - Chest

-Head - Waist

-right, left Leg - Pelvis

Specific Body Parts
In relation to the Arms

In Relation to the Legs

Fingers Toes
Wrists Ankels
Hands lower legs
Ellbows Thighs
Shoulders Hipps


Similare Body Parts
Means, body parts which have a compareable anatomy
and therefore similar movement possibilities in relation of
Basic Actions, Shaps, Pathways etc.
